Darling it’s better down where it’s wetter

Inspired by Blinking Owl’s delicious Swedish Fish cocktail

Muddle 2 cherries (I used yellow cherries from the farmers market 🍒), add 1 oz aquavit (I used the fabulous one from Blinking Owl Distillery), 1/2 oz aged aquavit (also from Blinking Owl), 3/4 oz lemon juice, 1/2 oz simple syrup (I made this using the sugar free natural sweetener from Swerve), 1 1/2 tsps Swedish fish “juice” (I melted the candy fish in hot water to get this, using the plant-based, low sugar, keto-friendly candy from Smart Sweets), 1/2 oz of sweet vermouth (I used the natural one from Lofi Aperitifs), 1 dash of berry bitters (I used the summer berries from El Guapo Bitters) and shake with ice. Fine strain over crushed ice and garnish with Swedish fish candy 🍭🐠🍹
