3 Easy Holiday Cocktails You Will Be Very Thankful For
Thanksgiving can be stressful: you have to make small talk with family members you barely know or like, and someone always ends up saying something awkward…Enter alcohol: your faithful little friend who will help take the edge off this holiday season.
Thankfully (literally and figuratively), making your own Thanksgiving cocktails is not only possible, but easy! Here are my three favorite Fall cocktails that will help you destress and enjoy the day, even if your relatives start talking about politics at the dinner table:
1. Pumpkin Spice & Everything Nice
Shake 2 oz coconut water, 1 oz vanilla unsweetened almond milk, 1/4 tsp pumpkin puree, 2 oz vodka, 1/4 tsp pumpkin spice, 1 tsp maple syrup and shake with ice. Strain over ice and garnish with a cinnamon stick.

2. Autumn Harvest
Shake 1 oz grapefruit juice, 1/2 oz aloe vera juice and 2 oz gin. Pour over ice and top with your favorite tonic water (I used the calorie-free one from Zevia) . Garnish with a slice of grapefruit.
Estimated: 170 calories, 4 g sugar, 0 g fat, paleo, keto & vegan
3. Thanksgiving Mimosa
Muddle 2 tsps of pomegranate seeds, add 1/4 oz fresh-pressed ginger juice, 1 squeeze of blood orange and shake with ice. Pour into a chilled champagne glass or coupe and top with your favorite bubbly.
